Running, Dead or Half Taken Apart

Most forklifts we buy have stopped earning their keep. The battery will not hold a charge, the mast is seized, the hydraulics leak or the machine has simply been replaced by a newer one. None of that stops a sale.

Tell us what works and what does not. A forklift that still drives onto the truck is easier to load and usually worth more, but a dead one is just as welcome. We plan the loading around its condition.

Warehouse floor where a forklift is loaded out

Loaded Out From Docks, Floors and Lots

Forklifts live in tight places: behind racking, at the back of a unit, on a busy dock. Before we book, we ask about the door width, the dock height, the floor and anything in the way.

We have run our own trucks since 2020 and choose the truck and gear for each job, so the forklift comes out without holding up your shift.

What Sets the Price

How We Price a Forklift

No price list, just the forklift you actually have.

Weight and size

Heavier forklifts carry more metal value, and capacity class matters to buyers.

Make, model and hours

The serial plate and hour meter tell us exactly what the machine is.

Running or not

A forklift that starts and drives is usually worth more than a dead one.

Mast and forks

Complete masts, forks and carriages add value. Missing parts lower it.

Fuel and power

Propane, electric or diesel each come with their own prep and value.

Access

An easy dock pickup is simpler than a machine buried behind racking.

Before You Call

Send These for a Fast Forklift Quote

  • A photo of the whole forklift
  • A photo of the serial plate
  • A photo of the hour meter
  • A photo of the route out: door, dock or ramp
  • Fuel type, and whether it runs

Our Firm Price Promise

The number we give you is the number we pay, as long as the forklift matches the photos and details you sent. If something major is different, we explain it and give you a new number before loading. You can say no and we leave.

Forklift Removal Around Queensborough and Annacis Island

Built for warehouse districts

Annacis Island is home to hundreds of warehouses, distribution centres and manufacturers, and Queensborough has its own strip of industrial lots along the Fraser. That means a lot of forklifts reach the end of their working life within a few minutes of our office. When a fleet is upgraded, the old units usually sit in a corner of the building or out back until someone finds a buyer.

We make that part simple. Send photos of each forklift, tell us which ones run, and we price them one by one or as a group. If you are replacing several machines at once, we can plan the pickup around the day your new units arrive so you are never short of a forklift on the floor.

Selling a forklift vs keeping it running

An older forklift can keep going for years, but there comes a point where a new mast, a new battery or a rebuilt engine costs more than the machine is worth. If the quote to fix it is a large share of what a newer used unit would cost, selling the old one and putting the money toward a replacement usually makes more sense.

Forklifts with very high hours, failed safety checks or parts that are hard to find are also good candidates. Even when it no longer runs, a forklift still has real value in its steel, its counterweight and any parts in good condition, which is why we pay for dead machines too.

FAQ

Forklift Removal Questions

How do I get rid of an old forklift in New Westminster?

Send us photos of the forklift, its serial plate and the route out of your building, plus the make, model, fuel type and whether it runs. We give you a firm price, book a pickup inside our New Westminster area and load it with our own truck. You are paid by cash or Interac transfer before the forklift leaves.

Where can I sell my forklift?

You can sell it privately, trade it in with a dealer, or sell it to us for cash. A private sale can bring more money but takes time, viewings and the risk of a buyer backing out. We give you one firm number from your photos and take the forklift away ourselves.

Do you buy forklifts that don’t run?

Yes. Dead batteries, seized masts, leaking hydraulics, worn tires and missing keys are all common. Tell us what is wrong when you send the details so we bring the right gear to load it.

Do you take electric forklifts with the battery?

Battery and charger questions depend on the machine, so we go over them with you on the call before we book the pickup.

What do I do with the propane tank?

We explain propane cylinder prep on the call. Do not try to drain or vent a tank yourself.

Can you load a forklift from inside a warehouse?

Yes. Tell us about the floor, the dock height, the door width and any tight aisles so we plan the right truck and loading method before we arrive.

What paperwork do I need to sell a company forklift?

You need clear ownership of the forklift, and the person selling it must be able to sign for the business. We go over the paperwork with you on the call.

Do you take pallet jacks?

Not on their own. If a pallet jack or walkie stacker comes with a forklift or another heavy equipment job, we can take it along.
