Pricing and payment
How do you price heavy equipment?
We look at the machine’s weight, today’s metal market, whether it runs, its make, model and hours, how complete it is and how easy it is to reach.
Is getting a price free?
Yes. Getting a number costs nothing and you are free to say no.
Will the price change at pickup?
Not if the machine matches the photos and details you sent. If something major is different, we explain it and give you a new number before loading.
How do I get paid?
By cash or Interac transfer, before the equipment leaves your site.
Do you publish a price list?
No. Every machine is different and metal prices move, so we price the machine you actually have.
What we take
What equipment do you buy?
Forklifts, reach trucks, excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, lifts, generators, compressors, presses, conveyors and other heavy plant machinery.
Do you take equipment that doesn’t run?
Yes. Non running machines are a big part of what we buy.
Do you take small equipment?
Not on its own. Small items can go along with a heavy equipment job.
Do you pick up scrap metal?
Yes, heavy industrial scrap metal by the truckload. We don’t do household junk or small loads.
Do you sell parts?
No. We don’t sell parts.
Pickup
How far do you go?
About 15 km from our Queensborough office, including New Westminster, Annacis Island and Big Bend in Burnaby.
What are your hours?
We are open every day from 7 am to 11:30 pm.
Do you use your own trucks?
Yes. We have run our own trucks since 2020 and choose the truck and gear for each job.
Can I drop equipment off?
No. We are a pickup service, so please call or use the form instead of visiting the office.
Do I need to be there?
Someone who can show the crew the equipment and sign for it needs to be on site.
Paperwork and prep
What paperwork do I need?
Clear ownership of the equipment. For company equipment, the seller must be able to sign for the business. We go over the details on the call.
Do you buy equipment with a loan on it?
We only buy equipment with clear ownership.
What about batteries and propane?
We go over battery and propane prep with you on the call before pickup.
Do I need to disconnect machinery?
Yes. Have power, air, water and fluids disconnected before pickup day. Our crew handles the loading.
