Is It Time to Sell That Machine?
Signs a machine has reached the end
Construction equipment rarely dies all at once. The undercarriage wears, the hydraulics start to weep, the engine needs more attention every season and downtime starts to cost you work. When the cost of keeping a machine running gets close to its resale value, or when it fails an inspection and the fix is expensive, selling it is often the better business decision.
Machines that have been parked since a project ended are another common case. They take up space in your lot, lose value the longer they sit and still need to be moved eventually.
What you get from selling now
Selling a machine you no longer use turns idle steel into cash you can put toward newer equipment, and it frees up space on your lot or site. Because we buy running and non running machines, you do not need to spend money getting it working before you sell.
Send photos of the machine, its ID plate and its hour meter, and tell us where it sits. We give you one firm number, plan the loading around your site and pay you by cash or Interac transfer before we leave.
Construction Equipment Questions
Do you buy excavators and skid steers that don’t run?
Yes. Seized engines, blown hydraulics, thrown tracks and dead electrics are all common. Tell us the problem and send photos so we bring the right gear.
Can you pick up from an active job site?
Yes. We work around your site schedule and confirm access, ground conditions and where the truck can stand before we arrive.
Do you take attachments like buckets and breakers?
Yes, when they come with the machine or with a heavy equipment job. Tell us what attachments you have when you ask for a price.
What affects the price of construction equipment?
Weight, today’s metal market, whether it runs, the make, model and hours, how complete it is, and how easy it is to reach.
How do I get paid?
By cash or Interac transfer, before the machine leaves your site.
Do you need the machine to be on a hard surface?
No, but tell us if it is on mud, gravel or a slope. We plan the loading around the ground and the space.
What paperwork do I need?
Clear ownership of the machine. For company equipment, the seller must be able to sign for the business. We go over it on the call.
